The Fort harmon cattle company is a brand new western re enactment group based in East Anglia. Starting with a 20 knowledgable members who hail from Norfolk, Sufflok and Lincolnshire all dressed in correct Old Western attire and accessories.
Our members portray various characters of the west, from early settlers and shop keepers, cowboys of the range, gamblers, lawmen and outlaws. This is something which we have all studied and have great enthusiasm for, enabling us to produce sketches which will not only educate but also entertain the public.
The western town which we use in our sketches is a false frontage town, all of which is transportable consisting of a Blacksmith, Livery Stable and coral, general store, saloon. Bank, undertakers and marshalls office, all of which is in the confines of our safety barrier.
We are able to portray a living history encampment as it would have been in the old west and have displays of both fictional and factual gunfights of the old west and static displays of western items for viewing and educational purposes.
Our aim is to be a non profit group who will endeavour to raise money for charity, therefore the displays are chargeable to cover costs of public liability and consumables.
